Team Member Hauls Donated Chicken from Georgia to Texas

Jasper, Texas, native and Pilgrim’s team member Michelle Wallace, who works at the Pilgrim’s facility in Athens, Ga., really delivers! The hometown girl drove a truckload of 200 boxes of frozen chicken donated by Pilgrim’s from Athens, Ga., to Jasper, Texas.

According to Jasper-Lake Sam Rayburn Area Chamber of Commerce Director Beverly Holley, 1,600 servings of chicken were delivered to the Harvest Church Food Bank. Holley said “This is our community spirit; helping each other, though the good and the bad. A hearty thank you to Pilgrim’s Pride, Harvest Church, and Michelle Wallace.”
